Scott Cook: Troubadorly Yours
Six years in the making, Scott Cook’s album and book Troubadourly Yours echoes Woody Guthrie, Tom Paxton, and Gordon Lightfoot in the tradition of wandering folk singers. Cook was born in West Virginia but grew up on the Canadian prairies. Now based in Edmonton, Cook road tested the ten autobiographical songs on the album at live shows around the world, including on WFMT’s Folkstage. A gorgeous studio album, Troubadourly Yours is packaged as a hard-bound book of photos and essays that chronicle Scott Cook’s travels and the profound impact of the people he met along the way.
