WFMT's Midwinter Magic CD
From the cozy Mediterranean winter rain of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons to the whirling snow of Liszt’s Chasse-neige, this 15-track album has been compiled by WFMT hosts and staff to invoke the magic of winter. Selections include favorites like The Skater’s Waltz and Corelli’s Christmas Concerto as well as new discoveries like Korngold’s The Snowman, and Holst’s A Winter Idyll.
