Haymarket Opera Company: Artaserse 3-CD Set
Cedille Records proudly presents the studio recording of Haymarket Opera's sold-out 2025 production of Artaserse by Leonardo Vinci — a showcase of 18th century vocal fireworks at their most spectacular. Artistic Director Craig Trompeter leads the period instrument Haymarket Opera Orchestra and a stellar cast of Baroque opera specialists: countertenors Kangmin Justin Kim, Key’mon Murrah, and Ryan Belongie; male soprano Elijah McCormack; and Ryan Opera center alums mezzo-soprano Emily Fons and tenor Eric Ferring. Artaserse follows the success of Haymarket’s acclaimed world-premiere recording of Joseph Bologne’s L’Amant Anonyme, praised as “Five Stars” (BBC Music Magazine) and “A triumph in every respect” (Fanfare).
